The variation of human emotions fuels the process by bringing curiosity, excitement, professionalism, together with creative skillset and problem solving.

The beauty of this client-designer/illustrator synthesis lies in the two worlds colliding to create something new. Each side with its own expertise and skill set, offering one another a helping hand, space to bounce off ideas and lead the project from a seedling to a successful final outcome that will fulfil its purpose.

This collaboration between two sides, two minds, not only opens the doors to new possibilities, it also allows the limits to be extended and new ideas and clever solutions to be born. The communication creates space for both sides to be involved and have their input in the creative process.

This creative dance from start to finish of a project is what makes it unique and tailored to a specific need. Not only that, it's also the human input. The creative and the client who offer their perspective, intuition and skill set, that make the final outcome a success, relatable, functional and with a piece of them that shines through.

As the saying goes... it's about the journey, not necessary about the destination.

And this applies to any creative project where the client and the creative are both on this creative journey that adds value and meaning to the outcome. The experience of sharing ideas, feedback and valuable wisdom cannot be replaced by typing few words in a computer to produce an image that has no soul, no originality or the value of real collaboration and craft.

By this post, I would like to appreciate all the clients, who, despite being aware of the new shortcuts (ai) and technological advances, still value the real human craft, creative mind and the process and experience of collaboration. It's truly honourable to see those clients choosing humans over computers and valuing the years of experience, energy and passion that every creative puts in their work.

I've been lucky to collaborate with many amazing clients who fall into this category and keep the creative industry 'human'. The projects I've worked on over the years have always had one thing in common - needing my expertise, creative thinking, perspective, knowledge, years of experience, style and the essence of seeing the world/projects through a specific/personal lens, that brings new ideas to life. This is why there is a variety of beautiful creative ideas out there, because of all the creative minds wondering and giving birth to new ideas all the time!

While on the other hand, the technology does not have this ability and only copies what's already been created. The value of human art, design skills and creativity is often undervalued and taken for granted. Many people think that it is easy to come up with creative ideas, visualise them and bring them to life. They feel like one click of a button can replace the whole creative process and make it more efficient. However, they do not realise that the ability to create something special comes from a whole life dedicated to building a skill-set, improving craft, being curious and creative, being passionate, learning about creative thinking, delivering clever solutions, solving problems and so much more.

This is why, each time a client approaches me and values real human art/design, the creative process and collaborative approach, it creates an outcome that has a lively spark, positive impact on others and helps people to connect and relate to the final design.
