Inspiration and lessons can be anywhere around us, it is all about the art of looking around and noticing.
Authenticity - How important is it in today's world and for creatives? Ozzy Osbourne, one of the revolutionary musicians was a great example of sticking to one's own strengths! As a creative, I often find myself looking at all the 'trends' and things that come and go in a blink of an eye. I personally resonate with following my own direction, which one could say, is what makes things authentic. Creating work that's meaningful, shares one's perspective and sometimes ends up being cheesy or imperfect, but still real.

One of the most famous rock and metal legends, Ozzy Osbourne passed away a few weeks ago. But his legacy lives on...
What he created in his life was build on authenticity and boldness. He did not try to fit in the mould, be someone else, or follow the trends. Ozzy is a perfect example of owning one's true potential, even if it means being disliked by some people, but also loved by others for being your true self.
The lesson from this is to stay true to who you are, even through the hard times. Embrace the messy-ness and be your own biggest fan. Being real is priceless and makes you stand out without trying.
