The Book of Toon Tales
 
Sima in Stripes has written, illustrated and self-published a book called 'Toon Tales'. As a previous resident of Newcastle, the city is very close to her heart and she wanted to celebrate all the history and culture together with its flourishing community! Each place has its own story and a character that will introduce you to what happens when imagination brings them to life! 
 
Stories for all the little or grown-up Geordies, explorers, visitors, family and friends. The book is a 48 page long, family friendly book about Newcastle, including all the key sightseeing spots. It has both imaginative elements and real information combined together. 
 
Not so far away up north is a place, where life moves at an exciting pace. Past an angel on a hill, with seven bridges standing still, a Quayside on the horizon that looks pretty, where stories can be found all around the city.

From St James’ Park and the metro line, to grabbing a sausage roll at noon. Meet the residents, who will share their tales of the Toon. This is where the blurb will end, take a look inside and meet everyone, including Horatio and his new friend."
