An amazing collaboration on a project called Prečítané Leto, curated and organised by Viktória Marcinová and Alžbeta Uríková, supported and sponsored by Martinus Bookstore in Slovakia. The project aims to encourage and motivate children to stay active readers during their summer holidays. The calendar offers a list of children's book recommendations for both young children and teenagers. Additionally, it offers various tips and ideas for spending summer together as a family, exploring nature, cities and all the hidden treasures around Slovakia.
My role as a designer and illustrator consisted of collaborating and communicating with the team, offering creative ideas and solutions, interpreting themes, turning them into illustrations and designs that complimented the overall layout and mood of the project. The outcome was a nine-week-long summer calendar printed for bookstores and libraries all around Slovakia, made available for the public and children to use during their summer holidays.
